Silver Annual Multimedia Award 2012

The web presence we developed and designed for kadawittfeldarchitektur shows the portfolio of the renowned architects, with focus on the “Added-Value Space”-principle they follow in their architectural designs.

“Added-Value Space” defines the architectural quality reflected in the way the architecture is used, for example by people who work, live and spend their free time at those sites.

Inanimated architecture does not have this “Added-Value Space” – it only reveals in real life, as soon as the building and its premises are used for their intended purpose.

We have managed to develop a Typo3-based HTML web presence that plays full-size movies, cross-platform, in the background of the navigation elements.

Each project has its own blog displayed on the right hand side of the browser window where parts of the internal communication between the architects while working on the project are published, and which aims at giving an insight into the real-life design process of the kadawittfeld architects.
